We love our People Walker community! The great thing about building a community is it only works if every single member is an active participant. People Walker encourages a high standard of conduct for both clients and walkers in order to help ensure a safe and welcoming experience for everyone.
These thoughts should act as guidepost to not just a considerate, fun, polite experience for everyone — but also an enjoyable one — during and before/after a walk.
- Be Nice
- Be Respectful
- Be Safe
- Be Helpful
Millions of unique people come together daily. By walking, you not only support an inclusive community, but you also agree to being kind and civil to those around you.
While People Walker is encouraging others to get out there to be active and make connections, it’s important to remember to respect other people’s space and privacy. Being respectful also includes absolutely no discrimination and no bullying. (But you come on guys.. you already knew that.) :)
Each city has their own walking laws and regulations! So please follow those and please always look at your surroundings!
Like most things in life, being helpful by communicating can avoid a lot of misunderstandings. A simple message within the app, telling your clients or walker that you will be a few minutes late, or you are about to arrive will be an easy and simple start to the walk :)
